How the calculation
works.
The calculator starts from a simple idea: a loyalty card and notifications bring back customers who would otherwise have gone elsewhere or stayed home. It therefore estimates the revenue generated by these extra visits.
The calculation is deliberately transparent: additional revenue = number of different customers per month × average basket × share of these customers who come back one more time. This amount is then compared with the price of Push, €39.90 per month incl. VAT, to get the net gain and the return on investment.
Assumptions to keep in mind
- The share of returning customers is an assumption you choose: it is neither a promise nor a measured average. Start cautiously, between 3% and 8%, then compare with your own figures after a few weeks.
- Additional revenue is turnover, not margin: apply your margin rate to know the real gain.
- The 12-month total assumes constant parameters, with no seasonality and no growth in installed cards.
- The calculator does not include any savings on SMS or paper cards that the Wallet card replaces.
Examples
by industry.
Fictitious examples to illustrate the calculation with cautious orders of magnitude. Replace them with your own figures in the calculator.
| Industry | Customers / month | Average basket | Returning customers | Additional revenue |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Restaurant | 600 | €22 | 5% | €660 / month |
| Barber & hairdresser | 250 | €28 | 8% | €560 / month |
| Bakery | 1,500 | €7 | 4% | €420 / month |
| Beauty salon | 150 | €55 | 6% | €495 / month |
In these four examples, the estimated additional revenue exceeds the price of Push (€39.90 per month incl. VAT). The actual result depends on your business and how you use the card and notifications.
